Agriplas started out as Duro Plastics in 1968. During that year the Agridrip non-compensating dripper line was born and came with a choice of 2lh and 4lh drippers. In 1970 the Agriplas name was introduced to the current company owners Duraplenta / Thaba holdings, which they accepted and a name change followed.

During 1976 the statojet was introduced and re-designed during 1991 due to diffuser changes. May 1993 Agriplas became Agriplas (Pty) Ltd. Between October 1993 and July 1995 Agriplas introduced the Gulf Valve range to the market as well as the Gulf600. August 2005 the yellow short-range swivel for the Gulf Micro sprinkler range made its debate.

Since then Agriplas has grown its Gulf Micro sprinkler range into an impressive selection. Today Agriplas is the only manufacturer of both cylindrical and flat dripper line in Southern Africa thanks to the latest technology and machinery. Our Gulf Automation range includes some of the best web-based products such as the Gulf800, Nutricontrol, Galcon, Gsm, and many more.
